· How do I open an account?
In order to open an account you need to fill our Account Opening Documentation. The form must be completed with your Individual, Company, and/or Joint Account details with and without Power of Attorney.In order to open an Individual Account you need to provide us with a notarized copy of your passport and a utility bill as proof of residence (ex. telephone or electricity bill).
If you intend to open a company account, we will need notarized copies of different company related documents, - the specific requirements are mentioned on the second page of the account opening documentation.
AlliedMajestic Investments L.L.C. must receive all documents by post at our physical address available in our contacts page. Please notice that in conformity with national and international laws, we cannot accept faxed or scanned documents, nor can we accept copies of documents if they are not notarized. When we receive the documents, our compliance officer will check your application. Once accepted, our staff will set up an account for you and they will contact you to inform you of your username and password and provide you with the wiring instructions.
· Does AMIFX™ Account Opening Documentation exist in different languages?
At the moment the Account Opening Documentation exists in English only, but it will soon be available in German, Spanish, Portuguese, Italian, Russian and Arabic as well.
· How much time does it take for AMIFX™ to set up the account from the date you receive the application?
Demo accounts are opened instantly, Mini & Standard accounts are usually set up within two business days. Institutional accounts takes approximately 1 week.
· What is the minimum amount to open an account?
AMIFX™ offers more than one account type/pln. Please visit the account page for a complete overview of our requirements for opening an account of a certain type.
· Can I trade mini-lots with AlliedMajestic Investments L.L.C.?
Yes, AlliedMajestic Investments L.L.C. offers the possibility to trade mini-lots for all accounts; The minimum amount is point 0.1 lot (equivalent 10,000 of the base currency).
· Do I need to open a mini account to trade mini-lots?
No, we do not distinguish between standard and mini accounts. All clients can trade mini lots on a standard account.
· Why do I need to provide you a notarized copy of my passport?
This is part of the strict control procedures of Anti-Money Laundering laws to ensure that the person who wants to open an account is indeed who he claims to be.
· I don’t have a passport - can I open an account with another piece of identity?
Yes, any official piece of identity with photo and signature will be as good.
· Can I withdraw my money whenever I want?
Yes! Just fax us your Fund Withdrawal Request which you can find on our website; immediatley and after the required documentation/verification work we will wire the funds to your bank account enlisted and registered as your correspondent bank account upon registration.
· Are there any fees involved with the withdrawal of funds?
AlliedMajestic Investments L.L.C. does not charge any fees for processing a withdrawal request, however our banker HSBC does charge a fee for the service. The size of the fee depends on the amount to be wired and on the country of destination of the wire; Usually around $35.
· How do I transfer my funds?
AlliedMajestic Investments L.L.C. can only accept funds that have been wired from an account that carries the name of the client. We cannot accept credit card payments nor third party transfers of any kind.
· Can I transfer money using my credit card?
In conformity with Anti-Money laundering laws clients cannot fund their accounts via credit card payments. This also ensures more security of your credit card and prevents you from being a victim of Fraud and/or Identity theft.
· Can I transfer funds from my trading account to the trading account of another client?
No, it is not allowed to transfer funds between different clients accounts nor to third parties.
· Is it possible to open more than one account?
Yes, you can open several sub accounts to your account. To open a sub account, simply print and fill the sub account request form and send it to us by fax or email.
Please notice that it is possible to have your sub account denominated in a different currency.
· Can my account be denominated in other currencies than US dollars?
Yes, you can choose to have your account denominated in USD, EUR, GBP, JPY, CHF, AUD or CAD.
· Does AlliedMajestic Investments L.L.C. pay interest on the outstanding balance of my account?
No, your account does not earn interest. It is a trading account, not a bank account.
· Since when does AlliedMajestic Investments L.L.C. exist?
AlliedMajestic Investments L.L.C. was established in August 2005
· Who are the owners of AlliedMajestic Investments L.L.C.?

· Is AlliedMajestic Investments L.L.C. regulated?

AMIFX™ is also member of ARIF which is a Swiss Association that controls and supervises financial intermediaries on behalf of FDF. ARIF is regularly controlling that AMIFX™ accounting is in compliance with the strict Swiss law. AlliedMajestic Investments L.L.C. is furthermore being audited by KPMG several times a year.

· Do you only accept clients from certain countries?
No, we currently accept client account from all countries.
· Do you manage funds?
No, AMIFX™ is providing access to the Forex market through the AMIFX™ Trading Station, but does not manage funds.
· Does AlliedMajestic Investments L.L.C. provide technical analysis?
Yes, in collaboration with Capital Management, AMIFX™ provides technical analysis on the six majors and on the major crosses directly to the mailbox in the AMIFX™ trading station on an almost daily basis. The technical analysis is provided to both live clients and demo clients.
· Does AlliedMajestic Investments L.L.C. require a minimum number of transactions per month in order to keep the account active?
No, the account stays active no matter the level of activity.
· Does AMIFX™ accept scalpers?
We do accept scalpers but since it is difficult to cover such positions in the market, we will increase the spreads for clients with scalping strategies.
· Have you guaranteed fills?
Our dealers always execute orders at the indicated price under normal market conditions. In situations of market gaps it is impossible to cover the positions with our liquidity providers, and you may be filled at a different price than initially requested. Stop orders will be filled at the best available price to AlliedMajestic Investments L.L.C.; for more detailed information about such scenarios please read our trading policy.
· What is the maximum you increase your spreads in volatile markets?
It is impossible to give a fixed maximum as it entirely depends on the market. However during important news announcements or in volatile markets we usually do not increase the spreads for the majors to more than 5 pips, occasionally to 10.
· What do you mean by a ‘No maintenance margin’ policy?
Our no maintenance margin policy means that our clients can go below the margin requirements during the week without AMIFX™ closing their positions. Throughout the week your positions can fluctuate without AMIFX™ taking action. We only require you to respect the margin requirements by Friday evening.
There is no maintenance margin policy means that we do not give margin calls and we do not automatically close your positions if you go below the margin requirements of your positions. However, if you approach the level where the loss of your open positions approaches the balance of your account, you will be stopped out and your positions will be closed. The stop out will be executed when there is only around 2% equity of the required margin left in the account.
We believe that our no maintenance margin policy gives more flexibility to the clients, as they can decide for themselves when they want a position to be closed. Sometimes if the price is going against you, many of our competitors would close the position if it goes below the required margin - even if the price bounces back the next moment. We give the client complete control over his positions.
· What leverage does AMIFX™ provide?
For accounts of up to $1,000,000 US we provide a leverage of 100:1. For accounts above $1,000,000 US, please see our margin table by clicking here.
· From what percentage am I in a margin call?
For accounts with equity below $1,000,000 there is no maintenance margin during the week, which means no margin calls during the week. However, the margin requirements must be respected by Friday at 23:00 CET and before holidays. If you are below your margin requirements at that time, one of our dealers will contact you. Your margin requirements will depend on the leverage you are trading with, - if 100:1, the margin requirements are 1%. If 200:1, the margin requirements are 0.5%; etc ..For accounts with equity above $1 million US, the margin requirements must be respected daily by 23:00 CET.
· Do you charge fees or commissions when opening an account with AMIFX™?
No, AMIFX™ does not charge any fees or commissions.
· How do you calculate profit and loss?

· What is the maximum I can trade online?
There is not a maximum amount you can trade online, however there is a maximum to the number of lots you can trade online at streaming prices. It is always possible to trade bigger amounts, but you will need to request a quote and depending on the market conditions, the spread may increase. Clients can also trade bigger amounts by phone.
· Has AlliedMajestic Investments L.L.C. developed the AMIFX™ Trading Station?
No, the AMIFX™ Trading Station is based on the Meta Trader 4 (also called MT4) software, which has been developed by |Metaquotes.
· I would like to program my own Expert Advisor for automated trading. How do I do that?
If you are familiar with programming you may want to try and program an Expert Advisor yourself. The programming language is very similar to C++. As a help to our clients we have prepared a user guide to assist you. The user guide can be found here.
For those clients who do not feel comfortable programming, AMIFX™ now offers to program your trading strategy for you at a minor fee. Institutional clients benefit from this service for free. For more information, please contact our customer care.
· Why does the Market Watch not show all currency pairs?
If the Market Watch does not feature all instruments, just put the cursor somewhere in the Market Watch, right-click and choose ‘Hide All’. Now right-click again and choose ‘Show All’. All pairs, including gold and silver, should now appear.
· I have downloaded the AMIFX™ Trading Station but the platform says ‘no connection’. How do I connect?
When you download the platform it is important that you open a demo account in the system. The system cannot connect if there is no account. If you did not fill the grey box that popped up when you installed the platform, just go to ‘File’ in the menu and choose ‘Open an Account’. Fill the box that appears and remember to tick the box about news letters. You should now receive an account with login and password and you will connect to the server - please accept the updates, when proposed.
· Can I have the period of my demo account extended beyond the 14 days?
All demo accounts automatically expire after 14 days. Unfortunately it is not possible to extent that period. Please be aware that all data regarding the demo account will be lost when the demo account expires. If you want to keep a copy of your trade history, we advice you to copy the account statement on your computer. To do that, go to Account History in the Terminal, right-click and choose ‘Save as Report’.
· Why is it not possible to trade or to modify orders during the weekend?
Our dealing-room is closed during weekends and the trading access is therefore blocked. We do not accept neither trading nor modifications if we don’t have dealers in the dealing-room to verify that everything takes place according to standard practice.
· How is the volume on the charts calculated?
The volume is the amount of incoming ticks. If the price is constantly changing, it is an indication of big volume. The more changes the more activity and the bigger the volume.
· Does the AMIFX™ Trading Station have the trailing stop feature?
We do offer the trailing stop feature. To activate the Trailing Stop on a position, go to ‘Trade’ in the ‘Terminal’ at the bottom of the platform, right-click and choose Trailing Stops. Please note that you have to be making a profit of minimum 15 pips before you can activate it.
· Does the platform allow hedging?
You can without any problems open hedge positions (hold both long and short positions of the same pair) on the AMIFX™ Trading Station.
